Chip Away At It

How do you build strength? Speed? Endurance? Success?

You work towards it every day.

You lift and run and work every day. You mobilize and stretch and rest every day.

You can’t let the fact that your barbell isn’t loaded up bother you. You can’t let the small fact that you can’t run a mile without walking stop you.

You have to chip away at it, one swing after another. You get it done when you are fully rested, and when you are exhausted. You chip away at it when you are motivated and when you are mentally checked out. You show up on the good days and the bad days.

Everything happens in a million minuscule choices, steps and acts. Don’t give up. You will get there.
